FIFA World Cup Fever

Harrods Aviation and Air Harrods recently played their part in the biggest-ever round-the-world tour of the official FIFA World Cup™ Trophy when it arrived in the UK.

The FIFA World Cup Trophy Tour by Coca-Cola will take in 83 countries in 225 days, covering 138,902 kilometres in the process, before arriving in South Africa ahead of the nineteenth playing of the FIFA World Cup™.

Harrods Aviation handled the FIFA and Coca-Cola branded aircraft carrying football’s biggest prize for its arrival and departure to/from the UK. And, amid tight security, Air Harrods flew the prestigious trophy from London to Sincil Bank, Lincoln FC’s ground, where it was paraded by 1966 World Cup winner Martin Peters.
