FAA Approval

The Harrods Aviation Engine Shop, a major Honeywell service centre for the TFE731 engine, endured a vigorous audit process by the FAA to become an additional fixed location on our Luton FAA approval No. CI5Y780M.

Obtaining the approval will see the engine shop able to perform in-house MPI work on N-registered TFE731 aircraft just as we currently do for EASA-registered operators. This will mean these customers’ costs will be reduced as we will not need to ship the engine to another facility for the MPI to be performed.
