Quality Assurance

The Harrods Aviation Quality Assurance department is responsible for ensuring the requirements of the EASA regulations, FAA Part 145 and all the national regulatory requirements of various countries for which Harrods Aviation holds approvals are met. This means the overseeing of maintenance processes ensuring the best standards are achieved on an operator’s aircraft while in the care of Harrods Aviation. This is achieved by product audits of work in progress and reviews of engineering departmental procedures. The department is responsible for all interfaces with the Regulatory Authorities.

The Quality Assurance System in Harrods Aviation meets all the requirements laid down by the various National Aviation Authorities and is audited by them every year. These audits have given the Authorities great confidence in Harrods Aviation’s controls and procedures. The system in place within Harrods Aviation has been and continues to be a robust Quality Assurance System which gives our customers both internally and externally a good solid Quality Assurance base on which they can rely totally; assuring them that their aircraft is being looked after correctly.

The second main function of the quality department is to provide direct services to customers in the form of C of A renewals, aircraft re-registrations and external audits.
