The external appearance of the aircraft is very important both aesthetically and for the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft. Immaculately polished leading edges allow for more effectual aircraft operation.

Harrods Aviation uses only low speed drum buffers with specialised polishes that ensure a thorough and deep application. Wherever possible, the aircraft external cleaning and polishing is completed by hand and Harrods Aviation detailing staff have again received specialised training in this area to allow them to identify any imperfections, signs of corrosion, paint chips and flakes in areas that may otherwise go unnoticed.
