As with any service we continually review the customer requirements and as result have just completed leather training with four detailers, two from Luton and two from Stansted.
This training will enable the detailers to offer a cleaning service for leather which will include removal of pen marks and stains and the repair of minor abrasions and cuts.
The training was completed by a UK company who have a purpose-built training school to cultivate and demonstrate all the skills necessary to carry out these tasks.
Leather is a much used material within the corporate aviation world and is well known for its hard wearing and aesthetic qualities. However, unless regular attention is paid to this material it will substantially affect its life expectancy and appearance.
Pen marks for instance are very easy to remove with the correct cleaner providing this is completed soon after the mark is made. However, if it is left untreated, ink can be very difficult to remove completely.
Harrods Aviation can now offer a full service which allows treatment, cleaning and renovation of leather to ensure it always looks its best and gives a long service life. |
