London Stansted – Customs & Immigration

For the convenience of our customers the UK Border Agency (UKBA) have their own facilities on-site at our London Stansted FBO.

Harrods Aviation maintains an excellent working relationship with these official bodies for the benefit of our customers but we always operate within their restrictions and ask that all customers adhere to rules and regulations for their own benefit and the operational integrity of our business.

The mechanics of immigration controls vary between airports but Harrods Aviation Stansted contributes towards having a dedicated officer based in our facilities between the hours of 0730 and 2115 for the convenience of our customers. If there is a need for a passenger or documentation to be taken to the UKBA, an on-site officer reduces the risk of the passenger having to endure a minimum 30-minute round trip to the main airport terminal.

The UKBA reserve the right to request to see any passenger at any time and within the aviation community it is generally accepted that we have no control to prevent this happening.
