London Luton – Fuel
Harrods Aviation provides an independent, dedicated and self-operated fuelling capability at our Luton base. This means Harrods Aviation are able to offer competitively priced fuel direct to your aircraft with the highest level of customer service.
The success of the Harrods Aviation FBO at Luton airport over the last five years has led to the introduction of several new fuel initiatives at Luton including a new phase of co-operation with Shell Aviation. The intention is that our customers continue to enjoy the benefits of our close relationship with Shell Aviation in terms of the price paid per litre, while additional investment in delivery capacity and payment options continues to improve the level of service you can expect.
By operating bowsers in-house we are able to respond immediately to your needs in providing fuel quickly, efficiently and safely minimising the risk of delays to your operation.
Harrods Aviation currently operates three fuel bowsers. The first of the bowsers is an 18,000 litre rigid unit, ideal for servicing smaller aircraft at the Luton FBO and, for the larger aircraft that regularly uplift up to 30,000 litres at a time, there is an articulated 39,000 litre unit. The third unit has an 8,000 litre capacity and also has the additional ability to defuel.
Harrods Aviation accepts all major fuel cards, credit cards and, of course, we are happy to accept cash (payments greater than the value limit in force at the time are subject to the appropriate checks required by law).
We are always aware that fuel prices can be the deciding factor between competing FBOs. To this end we have the flexibility to negotiate contract rates for the supply of fuel to regular and high volume customers. Please contact our Operations Sales department for more information.
