The S-76D™ – A New Standard for Safety & Comfort
The Farnborough International Air Show provided the perfect opportunity for Harrods Aviation Aircraft Sales
to secure the fourth Deposit Agreement for the new generation Sikorsky S-76D™ helicopter. Harrods Aviation will deliver the first European VIP-configured S-76Ds to
Irish operator Premier Aviation Services Ltd in 2009.
Sikorsky Aircraft will display a full size mock up of the S-76D featuring the new state of the art Thales cockpit and Silencer VIP interior configuration at the NBAA Convention and Exhibition 2006 (Sikorsky Booth #4899). The Thales 'Top-Deck' Avionics Suite represents the most technologically advanced solution currently available and is specifically designed for helicopter operations. The intuitive design features large-format displays that have been consolidated in an efficiently designed console for improved visibility and field-of-view. Ergonomically designed, easy-to-use display screens will maximise situational awareness for pilots, reducing workload and maximising safety.
