Pino flies Air Harrods
Air Harrods VIP helicopter charter was extremely busy during this summer's Farnborough Air Show.
It is events such as this when helicopters really come into their own and many companies entertaining in the hospitality chalets of Farnborough took advantage of the Air Harrods service; flying guests and staff into the show over the queuing traffic below.
Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation was one such company utilising the Air Harrods helicopters throughout the week. For the opening of the show Sikorsky President Jeff Pino, a retired US Army Master Aviator, co-piloted the Air Harrods S-76C+ with Captain Steve Tierney, Flight Operations Director of Air Harrods - entering the show in true style.
At the Air Show Sikorsky reported a robust order book and busy production lines. With investment in development programmes paving the way for future growth Harrods Aviation and Air Harrods remain proud of their association with this manufacturer through its Sales Representation in the UK and Ireland for the S-76 and S-92 aircraft, as an operator and as an approved Maintenance Centre. |
