New London Luton FBO
At London Luton airport work has commenced on the conversion of the building known as hangar 129 into the new Harrods Aviation Luton FBO.
The new FBO will feature an arrivals hall, VIP departure lounge, two separate VVIP lounges, a conference room, a training room, kitchen services area, direct Harrods Aviation controlled landside to airside access, 24-hour CCTV monitoring and improved vehicular access.
The new FBO is positioned adjacent to existing Harrods Aviation hangars 201 and 202 with their associated ramp areas, centralising our activities for increased efficiency. The new FBO ramp area will be 10,000m2 and the airport authority has already undertaken the work required on this area to maximise its parking potential. Following completion of the project the total Harrods Aviation ramp area available will be 20,000m2.
The whole project is now well underway and on course for completion in December with a live operational date for staff and customers of January 2008.
