  John Bool,
Head of Maintenance & Engineering

John is responsible for project management and implementation, financial management and strategic direction for Harrods Aviation Maintenance and Engineering department. John holds a wealth of aircraft experience with specialist knowledge of rotary wing - previous employment at Air Hanson and formerly at British International Helicopters. John has worked around the globe and his workshop and component overhaul experience has lent itself to Harrods Aviation being able to provide a one stop facility. John also holds a position on the Bombardier Global Express Advisory board and attends both Bombardier and Sikorsky technical meetings. Free from the day to day running of the maintenance hangars, John is able to concentrate his efforts on business development and advising the board on the future of the department.

  Brett Dale-Heaps,
Base Maintenance Manager, Stansted

Brett is the newest member of the engineering management team has been appointed the Base Maintenance Manager for Stansted.  He has had over 17 years experience within the aviation industry working within the armed forces, commercial and general aviation sectors.

His primary background has been the control and management of large team’s for aircraft avionic completions, modifications and aircraft maintenance on both fixed wing and rotorcraft.

He is a highly professional individual who strives to ensure high standards are maintained for both the customer and the company.

  
 
 
 
 
  Carlo Vergari,
Quality Assurance Manager

Carlo has now been with the company since 1994 and is well versed in all regulatory requirements. His career started as an aircraft engineer where he obtained his UK CAA licenses and USA A&P license. Due to his vast experience gained through working for Engineer and Engineering supervision then progressing to Quality Assurance Manager through previous employment with Hatfield Executive Aviation, Medivac International Assistance and Rogers Aviation Ltd, he is held in very high regard. Carlo manages a just culture with an open reporting system such that our customers’ interests and safety are maintained from the minute you arrive at our facilities and then into service thereafter.

  Jim Hill,
Engine Shop Manager

Jim has been with the company, in its various guises, since 1985 and in that time has travelled the world developing a global reputation for customer support in the field of the Honeywell TFE engines and APUs. Jim does not know the meaning of the word ‘no’! He will find a way and will help you with your engine and APU problems whatever they might be. Once you have called Jim, you will have the comfortable feeling that someone who cares is looking after your interests.
