Samantha Mizsei,
Base Manager, Luton
Samantha's aviation career began when she left Roehampton University with her degree and joined London Luton Airport working on the Information Desk. Here she honed her customer service skills, dealing with people from all walks of life on a daily basis. The position taught her to be organised and resourceful and made her extremely knowledgeable about Luton Airport and aviation in general.
Samantha took voluntary redundancy from the Airport Authority and seized the opportunity to travel through the USA, Australia and New Zealand before returning to aviation taking a temporary short-term contract with easyJet at their head office. A six week contract became six months with easyJet as Samantha's contract was repeatedly extended however she eventually joined Harrods Aviation in March 2004 as a Customer Service Agent.
Since joining Harrods Aviation Samantha has gone from strength to strength. The company policy to promote from within has seen her advancing through the operational ranks to become the Base Manager for our Luton FBO in February 2007. Now with three years experience of the operation and our customers Samantha has 60 staff under her and is responsible for the daily running of the FBO.
