As a British Army Air Corps Pilot gained operational experience on many military helicopters throughout the world. After leaving the Army, joined British International Helicopters and flew Sikorsky S-61 and S-76 on oil support in the North Sea as Senior Pilot of Shetland Island operation. Following the North Sea joined Air Harrods as one of its first pilots, promoted to General Manager in 2000 and then Operations Director in 2005.

Whilst I was a freelance pilot working throughout southern England I was well aware of the industry-leading reputation that Air Harrods has gained and I have always aspired to continue to improve my own aviation knowledge and experience. As I am the first First Officer to be given the opportunity to be employed by Air Harrods, my remit is to learn from my peers and ultimately provide the next generation of Air Harrods Captains - no easy task, but one that I relish.
