Harrods Aviation – Finance Department

Paul joined Harrods Aviation in March 2007 after spending the previous five years in a senior finance position within the UK arm of a major international shipping line, AP Moller- Maersk. Prior to that Paul was with Care UK Plc and Finnish paper giant UPM Kymmene. After university, where he gained a BA in Economics, Paul qualified in practice and spent time gaining invaluable experience with smaller business clients. More recent experience has been in the areas of international logistics, business restructuring and business process re-engineering.

Nikki joined the company in November 2001 after gaining a wealth of finance experience with various London-based insurance companies, Britvic Soft Drinks Ltd and Bayer Diagnostics. Nikki gained her professional accountancy qualification, ACCA, in August 2001. In her role as Project Accountant Nikki reports directly into the Finance Director.

Anthony has spent most of his career in Information Technology. Initially Anthony contracted to the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. A successful seven years culminated in Anthony being chosen for Consultancy Services, a business unit set up to interface between 170 information technology and 4,500 departmental staff. Anthony was also responsible for the Deputy Prime Minister’s office.

A move to the UK saw Anthony become Network Manager for Gilbarco UK – a global manufacturer of petrol pumps and point of sale equipment.

Anthony joined Harrods Aviation as IT Manager in April 2006 and says, ‘it is very exciting to be back in the aviation industry’. Anthony started his working life as an air traffic controller at Sydney’s Kingsford Smith Airport before moving on to greener pastures.
