Harrods Aviation – Board of Directors

Kate joined the company in May 2001 after working in aircraft ground handling and customer services for a total of 11 years.

Kate began her aviation career with Air UK, and then moved to Britannia Airways taking on various roles that broadened her experience and expertise.

In 1994 Kate joined Servisair plc where a number of challenging roles were held. These included Station Manager of London City Airport and managing a Key Account worth £110m.

Kate held the position of Customer Services Director for Harrods Aviation until April 2008 when she was appointed Managing Director of Harrods Aviation and Air Harrods.

Paul joined Harrods Aviation in March 2007 after spending the previous five years in a senior finance position within the UK arm of a major international shipping line, AP Moller- Maersk. Prior to that Paul was with Care UK Plc and Finnish paper giant UPM Kymmene. After university, where he gained a BA in Economics,  Paul qualified in practice and spent time gaining invaluable experience with smaller business clients. More recent experience has been in the areas of international logistics, business restructuring and business process re-engineering.

John is responsible for project management and implementation, financial management and strategic direction for Harrods Aviation Maintenance and Engineering department. John holds a wealth of aircraft experience with specialist knowledge of rotary wing - previous employment at Air Hanson and formerly at British International Helicopters. John has worked around the globe and his workshop and component overhaul experience has lent itself to Harrods Aviation being able to provide a one stop facility. Free from the day to day running of the maintenance hangars, John is able to concentrate his efforts on business development and advising the board on the future of the department.

Mike Irvin
Operations Director

Mike joined Harrods Aviation in 1997 after gaining nine year's ground handling experience with Inflite Jet Centre and Gatwick Handling both based at Stansted Airport.

During his time with Harrods Aviation he has performed various roles within the Ramp and Operations departments at Stansted and was promoted to the role of Head of Operations for both Luton and Stasted in September 2008. Mike is totally responsible for the Operations, Ramp and Fuel departments at both the Harrods Aviation FBOs.

Will Holroyd
Sales & Marketing Director

Will brings a passion for customer service excellence to Harrods Aviation and so will
perfectly match the Harrods brand ethos.
In joining Harrods Aviation Will furthers an eleven-year aviation career which includes
directorships within World Fuel Services, the world’s largest reseller of marine and
aviation fuel and NetJets Europe, the successful fractional ownership company.
Before his appointment at Harrods Aviation Will was leading WhiteConcierge, a
privately owned business providing personal assistance, lifestyle management and
concierge to an Ultra High Net Worth client base.
This rich aviation and customer service background will stand him in good stead to
build client relations and develop the strong Harrods Aviation brand in line with the
company’s goals.
