Smokefree England Harrods Aviation would like to take this opportunity to advise it's customers that all our facilities will become smokefree with effect from 1 July 2007. This change in policy is in line with the Health Act (2006) which has been introduced in England to prohibit smoking in public places (including workplaces).
The new law means that indoor smoking rooms in public places and workplaces will no longer be allowed and also company vehicles are to be smokefree at all times.
The Harrods Aviation smokefree policy has been developed to protect all employees, service users, customers, contractors and visitors from exposure to secondhand smoke and not only prohibits smoking in all company vehicles, premises, associated grounds and car parks, but also extends to within 10 metres of any Harrods Aviation building or workplace occupied by employees.
A full copy of the Harrods Aviation smokefree policy is available on request at any of our facilities.
