Upgrade update

The programme of works for the major part of the refurbishment of the Harrods Aviation Stansted FBO is well underway with roofing and air conditioning elements nearing completion.

Now that the busy summer period is behind us more improvements have started to areas inside the building. These will include the new business lounge, which will be able to seat in excess of 100 passengers. It will give us the capacity to increase this for larger hospitality type flights.

Our departures area is to be upgraded and the new business lounge will have a much more upmarket ambience than our current temporary set-up. We are sure it will be a popular enhancement to the Stansted facility offering greater flexibility to our customers.

Large plasmas and satellite television will be available in all our lounges once the refurbishment is complete and our buildings will still have wireless internet connectivity throughout. Images from bygone Harrods eras are to adorn some walls and will certainly provide a talking point for those making use of the lounges.

It is our intention to get to the end of the project without having caused our customers any inconvenience and disruption will be kept to an absolute minimum.
